The Scouts BSA has been a part of our community for a long time and in that time the organization has performed countless hours of service and helped mold many of its residence into fine citizens and leaders. Scouts BSA is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. Cub Scouting provides a program for young boys and girls that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of practicing good citizenship, develops personal fitness, and nurtures a love of nature. For more than a century, Scouts BSA has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. Scouts BSA believes — and, through over a century of experience, knows — that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society.
